Fifty-one weeks into the 2nd season of the Individual Online Oware League, the number of participants has stayed the same at 119 players from 31 known & unknown countries. Even though ghanaboy ๐ฌ๐ญparticipated in the tournament for the first time. We were made aware of the identity of geotrouvetout ๐ง๐ฏ, as the same as kongadji.ย We are now in record breaking territory having surpassed last yearโs total of 112 players. We welcome ghanaboy ๐ฌ๐ญ from Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ for taking part for the first time in this seasonโs league. Well done to everyone that made this possible.
This week mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ won the title withย 6.0 points, losing a game to abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญcongratulations to him ๐๐๐. ghanaboy ๐ฌ๐ญ in his debut participation placed 2nd, losing a games to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌdrawing a game with issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 3rd, losing a games to issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ & lordcity ๐ฌ๐ญ.
kongadj ๐ง๐ฏ & issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 4th & 5th respectively. Well done to them & everyone else who participated, especially the two female player vivian256 & bme both from Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ. In this edition the top 3 positions were occupied by players from 2 countries Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ & Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐.
With this win mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ has stretched his lead even further to 276.5 and contributing to the 669.5 points Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ has accumulated for the Nations Online Oware league. With the return of abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญwho has now accumulated 218.5 points from this tournament the difference between him & issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ with 216.0 points has now increased slightly to 2.5 points. With the final tournament to play in this 2nd season of the Individual league, can issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ make up the difference. We will find out on Saturday.
serikaktayev from Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ with 197.0 points position the top Asian player looks secure as the points difference between him and his team mate e17 with 193.0 increases to 4 points. The battle for 5th, 6th & 7th place, between roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ with 191.0 points e17 ๐ฐ๐ฟ with 193.0 points & harrison01 ๐บ๐ฌwith 191.0 points is even hotter. With the absence of roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ both e17 & harrison01 ๐บ๐ฌ have overtaken him. e17 is now 2.0 points ahead on both harrison01 ๐บ๐ฌ & roberisco ๐ฌ๐ญ. Whether this positioning stays the same after the final tournament on Saturday is any ones guess, and could go either way. Meanwhile abdu256 ๐บ๐ฌ with 135.0 points wavered in his quest to overtake Monkftw ๐ฌ๐ง with 138.0points. Now with an increased 3.0 points difference for the 8th position. Lower down the ranks the tussle between daallo ๐ฒ๐ฝ with 104.5 points & paulie42 ๐จ๐ฟ with 106.0 points, has seen a changing of positions with paulie42 ๐จ๐ฟ now on top, with a 1.5 points difference. Who will come out in 12th position on Saturday is yet to be revealed.
