Event: The 36th Cannes International Festival des Jeux

Dates: Friday 24th February - Sunday 26th February

Time: 10:00 - 19:00

Entry: 10€ per day, For major players, a 3-day pass is available for 27€. The Festival remains free of charge for minors under 16 years old upon presentation of a 0€ ticket they can download online or collect at the registration office. ID documents will be thoroughly checked at the entrance. Any exit is final.

Activity: Oware Animations - members of the public, will have the opportunity learn how to play & practice playing Oware.

Activity: 48Stones Challenge - members of the public will have opportunity to challenge the 48Stones AI Database

Dates: Friday 24th - Sunday 25th February 2023

Activity: 24th International Awale Tournament

Dates: Saturday 24th February 2023

Registration for Tournament: Free

Prizes: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 positioned players. Certificates of participation will be given each entrants.

Tournament Management: Round Robin will be used to manage the tournament if there are 8 or less entrants. Otherwise for nine or more entrants a seven round Swiss System will be used.

Competition start: 11:00

Time: Players will have 20 mins a game (each player has 10 mins playing time per game): Total match 60 mins. A match is decided on the best of three basis (2 - 0), (2 - 1) & (1 - 1 & a draw)
